Tasting Notes
Initially the Panel detected jelly beans, pineapple, star fruit, and camphor and menthol balm – all very in keeping with this distillery's usual fruit-forward profile we agreed. With some water this developed very encouragingly with mango coulis, pineapple yoghurt, fruity compote, coffee beans and grapefruit. The neat palate was nicely peppery and green, with grassy, citrus and muddled fresh herbal notes, plus an encroaching sweet, creamy vibe. Reduction brought green apples, jasmine flowers, sandalwood and yellow fruits such as plum and apricot. A lovely, vivacious and fruity finish followed on.
