Perfumed aromas combined the sweet scents of cherry blossom and lilacs with marzipan, honey and baked apple crumble. Meanwhile toasty notes of pine nuts, pecan pie and brioche bread turned to pain aux raisins and baklava on the palette where they merged with toffee, ginger and black tea with sugar. Adding water moved our attention towards oranges, hard sweets and liquorice with earthy notes of rhubarb, pine forests and freshly cut grass. The palette had become more juicy with pineapple, lemons and grapefruit joining cayenne pepper, cinnamon and dusty sawdust that lasted long onto the finish.
