Spirit NOTES
Aromas of aniseed liqueur, peppermint chews and fisherman’s friends were joined by cranberry walnut bagels with hazelnut cream cheese and a Virgin Mary mocktail. On the palate neat, a gazpacho with sweet yellow onion, cucumber, red bell pepper, fresh basil, garlic and Sherry vinegar with honey and salt coated peanuts. Following a drop of water, we baked a lemon olive oil cake incorporating lemon in four ways - lemon zest, juice, extract and Limoncello. To taste refreshing and sweet like three scoops of ice cream one being pistachio, another stracciatella and in the finish, salted caramel.
