Tasting Notes
A spritz of Gewürztraminer opened the nose, accompanied by bison grass atop pineapple upside down cake, drizzled with a light olive oil. The palate was tropical and fat, like mango and pineapple tarts, served with a refreshing glass of picpoul sur lie. Water wrapped the dram's nose in soft, fresh linens before heading to the inkwell on a distinguished playwright's writing desk, accompanied by a lime and coconut ice pole. The finish was fantastic, delivering an old cask-aged chardonnay with a waxy texture, plus overripe nectarines followed by melon.
