Tasting Notes
"Divine!" was the first comment, following a long spell of silence. The aroma was that of opening a wooden snack crate brimming with tropical trail mix, selected nuts and juicy dried fruits. On the palate came toasted almonds alongside desiccated coconut and golden syrup flapjacks, while in the finish a vibrant acidity as if from chardonnay aged in oak. A drop of water summoned fresh fruits such as pineapple, peaches and mango salsa, while the mouthfeel was now sweet, smooth and rounded with tastes of honey, lemon, stem ginger and delicate hints of oak.
