From the crisp chill in the air at Hallowe’en to the joyful celebrations of Christmas, Hogmanay and Burns Night, we’ve captured all the flavours of the season in this year’s Winter Series. The four-bottle quartet from distilleries 29, 1, 59 and 39 each feature a unique cask while also showcasing our new flavour profiles.

The first Winter Series bottling, Spirit of Hallowe’en, offers playful mischief and bold autumnal flavours from this member-favourite Islay distillery. This Bold & Peaty offering is 11 years of age. European members can expect mineralic, immense peatreek from Cask No. 29.302, while UK members enjoy the hearty meatiness and mentholic freshness of Cask No. 29.300.

Spirit of Hallowe'en

Our Christmas bottling, Mistletoe and whisky, encapsulates a flavour of winter warmth. It’s whisky that brings friends together over a dram amidst the frenetic festive pace of the season. In the UK members will enjoy Cask No. 1296, which has spent 10 years in an ex-bourbon barrel before its final three years in a second fill Spanish oak oloroso hogshead. It’s a sundowner-inspired dram reminiscent of martinis, light-bodied cigars and wicker rocking chairs. In Europe, Cask No. 1.298 offers a nose of madeira cake, sweet red wine, and chocolate chips, followed by dry spice and sweetness on the palate. This cask spent 10 years in an ex-bourbon cask before going into a first fill American oak PX hogshead for the remainder of its maturation.

The sparkle of the new year beckons in our New Year’s bottling, We’ll take a cup of kindness yet. It’s a time for new beginnings and for raising a glass to 2026 with this Highland offering from distillery 59. In the UK Cask No. 59.85 offers memories of lino cuts, putty and modelling compound followed by sugared almonds and rich tea biscuits. Meanwhile Cask No. 59.93 offers our European members liquorice allsorts, black tea and dark berries. At 13 years of age these first fill bourbon hogshead casks offer are the perfect way to celebrate the new year.

Come January, we honour whisky’s place in Scottish tradition, with our Burns bottling, Sing thy name! It’s a flavour of whisky poetry from Speyside distillery 39 with two first fill bourbon casks. Cask No. 39.313 offers a fruity pulp of apple blossom and fresh peaches with nuts and spice to those in Europe, while Cask No. 39.318 offers UK members lemon landed on strawberries and cream with cut grass and vanilla.

Ready to uncork the season? We’ll be releasing a limited number of quartets featuring all four bottles on 17 October. You’ll also be able to purchase each bottle individually as we head through the season.
